Born from a vision to fill a void in the digital music landscape, I proudly present my latest product, the fmQT synthesizer app.

The Genesis of fmQT

The journey of fmQT began with a simple yet ambitious idea: to craft a digital FM and wavetable synthesizer that not only pays homage to the iconic Y2K era sonic character of digital synthesizers but also introduces a level of accessibility and ease in automation lanes and parameter sequencing (looping) previously unseen on the App Store. Recognizing the need for such a tool among music producers and enthusiasts, I set out to bring this idea to life. From conceptualization to launch, fmQT was built from scratch over a span of six months, a testament to dedication and a relentless pursuit of excellence.

What sets fmQT apart is its core—a rich blend of custom-coded sound design essentials such as its unique sound engine, effects, and 4-band equalizer—all designed with a creativity-inspiring user interface to offer an unparalleled user experience. The user interface, entirely designed by me, reflects a commitment to simplicity and functionality, ensuring that creativity is never hindered by complexity. The app is AUv3 and MIDI software and hardware compatible, an achievement that underscores the technical challenges overcome during development. This compatibility ensures that fmQT seamlessly integrates into a user’s existing production workflow, offering versatility and enhancing creative possibilities.
